My favourite part of a dance class is the creative and performance technique as well as making friends and being part of a happy and encouraging environment.
Dance journey
I started dance at the early age of four, learning jazz, tap and ballet. Throughout my journey I completed up to Advanced Foundation in RAD ballet exams, and danced in The South Australian Children's Ballet for six years. I started my contemporary dance degree in 2021 and graduated in 2023. Throughout my study I did a bit of social dancing through Quicksteps. During and after my degree I have performed in various festivals, including the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival.
Teaching
I would describe my overall choreographic and improvisation style as loose, free and grungy. Students can expect a happy, relaxing and open-minded class where they work to their abilities and expand on their performance, artistic and creative skills. Growing up my favourite part of a dance class was the creative and performance technique as well as making friends and being part of a happy and encouraging environment.
