Tim Rodgers

Tim Rodgers is a classically trained dancer and artist, formerly with The Australian Ballet and The West Australian Ballet. Tim has over 20 years of high-end professional movement experience as both a classical and contemporary dancer. He has performed at arts festivals in the United States, Japan, hanghai, Bangkok, Melbourne, and Perth.

Tim’s work as an arts educator led to the creation of community-based projects. These resulted in skilfully tailored programs for Indigenous communities, people with disability, troubled youth, and the elderly.

Additionally, Tim presented workshops for secondary schools and lectured dance at both Edith Cowan University and TAFE SA.

In 2007 Tim studied media production through SAE Institute in Perth. During this time, he was the recipient of Best Experimental, Best Sound Design and Best Super-8 at the Perth REV8 Film Festival.

Tim proceeded to record and produce audio and video for music bands. He also created promotional media, graphic design and documented works for grant applications, as well as video and audio production for real
estate and small business social media design.

From 2017-2019 Tim collaborated with Michael Allen Productions to develop audio and video for live streaming theatre productions.

In 2019 Tim created Rodgers DrumLab, a business dedicated to expertly manufacturing quality custom and
handcrafted snare drums and drum kits. Rodgers DrumLab has supported many local and international bands and events. The business has a client list extending to the head percussionist from The West Australian Symphony Orchestra and The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
